About the ArtistAn artist, art educator, and museum professional, I am currently the Associate Director of Education at The Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington, New York, where I have had the pleasure of working in the Education Department since 2004. I also create select exhibition-related student activity guides for select exhibitions at the Godwin-Ternbach Museum, Queens College, CUNY. In 2011, I began Cork Creations by Kristina and now sell my recycled cork artwork at craft and gift fairs across Long Island, New York throughout the season.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in art history and studio art (with a concentration in drawing) from Binghamton University, State University of New York, in 2004 and a Masters of Science in Education in Art Education from Queens College, City University of New York in 2008 and hold an New York State Initial Certification in Art Education, K-12. Over the years, my personal artwork and teaching styles have evolved greatly and continue to do so with every new and exciting challenge that life brings! |
